On a cold chilly morning there is nothing like hot homemade biscuits, fat back, grandma molasses with butter, and a cup of coffee. I even boiled me some eggs to go with my breakfast. I love making biscuits and am always trying to find a great biscuit recipe. These biscuits were made of two ingredients (self rising flour and whipping cream). Delicious......

I stitched up the Star of David and gave it as a Christmas gift to a family member along with the butterfly dishcloth. Hope she has many years of washing dishes with them both. The other dishcloth, log cabin, was an experiment and looks more like a gun. I have so many small skeins of leftover yarns that knitting log cabins will come in handy.

Starting 2014 off with a running leap. Loving God, loving me, loving my partner Marv and all my immediate family. My last stitched project of 2013 was Nativity. If you are interested in cross stitching this piece, you can find it in the Shoo Fly Pie leaflet by Cross My Heart.
For 2014, Marv and I would like to wish everyone peace and goodwill. Enjoy your Thursday!

Baby Hat for Cattleya
Hi, Tywanna here! It has been a while since I have blogged, but my life has been busy. I have several projects that I am working on at one time. I need to get busy working on Christmas gifts (small items of course). I have decided I will be making handmade items for family members. Before I start those Christmas projects, I am knitting a baby hat with tassels for my grandbaby, Cattleya. I only made this hat one other time many years ago. It is going to be so cute. Take a peek at the beginning stages:
I am going to finish this adorable hat today and start on some more hats for Cattleya. Happy Monday on this chilly cold day.
