Hello everyone, as you can see I am making great progress on The Fisherman.  This is a beautiful piece and I like the way the colors are blending in.  I had to convert SB (Susan Bates) threads over to match DMC threads.  This gentleman reminds me of the Gorton's fisherman.  Plus, I love the smell of pipes' tobacco.  At RJ Reynolds in Smithfield, there is a section that sells cigarettes and pipes and whenever I visit that store I always go to that section just to smell the tobacco that goes inside the pipes.  My opinion, there is totally a different smell when smoking a pipe compared to smoking a cigarette.
